Whitley and Jesse’s Fall Grove Park Inn Wedding

Whitley and Jesse were such a fun, laid-back, and happy couple. Their families were long-time friends and Whitley and Jesse had known each other since childhood, so it was a great group of friends and relatives who all came together to celebrate their special day on what turned out to be one of the most beautiful Saturdays we had in October 2018! There had been tons of rain earlier in the week, but in its wake the storm left the most clear, cloudless, warm sunny day – we really got lucky! I loved the way Flora executed Whitley’s vision to create a unique and elegant design using white pumpkins which were both very autumn-appropriate, but still allowed us to use the pretty and sophisticated gray, white, eggplant, lavender and silvery green palette Whitley loved. It was definitely not the typical fall color palette that has been done so many times; it was fresh and different, while still lending a fun seasonal effect.

It was a pleasure to work with this fun-loving, sweet couple throughout their planning process – Whitley was the best combination of super organized and on top of things, while also having a very calm and relaxed attitude when it came to making decisions. I know this couple and their wonderful families have many happy years ahead of them, and I wish them all the best!
