Mission Health Grand Gala at the Grove Park Inn

As a full service event planning and design firm, we are thrilled when our corporate clients come to us with a design challenge. The Mission Health Gala team asked us to design around “Building Connections,” for an event recognizing donors for their philanthropic support of Mission Health’s patients. The theme embodies multiple meanings to the Mission Healthcare System as they are in multi-phase development for a regional, diversified health system, while also focusing on building connections between team members and patients alike. In an effort to compliment the Grand Ballroom at the Omni Grove Park Inn, the color palette centered on navy blue, gold, pewter, and greens.

Using circular connectivity as the conduit to building connections, the primary design elements included full wall dynamic gobo lighting, a custom, rounded gold bar with two double circular bar backs, and an immense hallway with navy floor to ceiling pipe and drape with gold pullbacks. The hallway featured framed art illustrating the connections and triumphs the healthcare system has had throughout the year. The tablescape featured gold infinity chairs, gold halo circle linens, gold rimmed chargers, and gold flatware. The beautiful centerpiece’s also centered around the circular theme featuring indigenous plants and greenery with a touch of green fruits and vegetables for an interesting visual. Lighting and candlelight was a key element in the event design creating a warm, dynamic atmosphere for the 500 guests.
