Destination I Do: Biltmore Forest Country Club Wedding
Kelly & Brian’s Asheville, NC destination wedding is featured on Destination I Do!
One of the most meaningful element of their wedding was the wooden crest from their wedding invitations: Our crest is something that Amanda at The Impressionist helped me to custom design for our wedding invitations. The antlers symbolized Brian and I’s love for Asheville and us meeting in Buckhead in Atlanta. The ivy symbolized where we met, The Ivy. Our planner, Becca, then helped us turn that into a real life-sized crest that hung over the mantel in one of the main rooms. Today, it hangs on our wall in our new home, and reminds us often of how thankful we are to have had such an incredible wedding celebration to start our marriage. It’s become our own family crest and will serve as an heirloom that we will pass down for our children for hopefully many generations to come.
Her advice for wedding planning? Listen to your heart. So often weddings can become a large production and lose the authenticity you started out with. If something doesn’t feel right, say it!
Thank you, Destination I Do, for the feature!
