Allison & Jeff’s Lonesome Valley Wedding
Allison & Jeff’s Lonesome Valley Wedding
When Allison first called and told us she was engaged, we were beyond thrilled! As a past AEC team member, we couldn’t wait to start the planning process with her. There was no doubt about the location, Canyon Kitchen at Lonesome Valley was the winner. Allison + Jeff’s love for the outdoors and good food made it the idyllic setting for their ceremony and reception. Their design vision was simple and understated. Lots of greenery, white flowers, and natural elements complementing the existing beauty and backdrop of the box canyon. Navy accents, blue agate, and hand picked stones were woven throughout the scenery. Their signature drinks were crafted based on their liquor of choice — tequila for him, bourbon for her. Chef John Fleer crafted a custom mouthwatering menu that their guests loved.
Allison is a musician and singer, so it was no surprise that one of her requests was to sing with the band. Empty Pocket was so much fun and we especially loved the encore when Allison sang with them! Guests rocked out with monogrammed light up tambourines for the final set and farewell.
Of course all of this love, joy and celebration was captured by one of our favorite photographers, Parker J. Pfister. I’ll let the photos tell the rest of the story.
