Abbey & Matt’s Crest Center Pavilion Wedding
Abbey & Matt’s Crest Center Pavilion Wedding
Abbey and Matt are both New Yorkers, and while they may call the North home, these “Yankees” will always be welcome back in the North Carolina mountains. They were so much fun to work with and had a very clear vision for what they wanted for their wedding day. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
Abbey and Matt loved the Crest Center – the views were the perfect fit for their vision of a mountain wedding. Abbey chose navy blue and gold as her wedding colors and highlighted these colors in the bridesmaids dresses, linens and many gold accents throughout the reception. Soft pink flowers tied together the elegant colors with the rustic mountain setting.
Perhaps the most fun detail of their wedding was a special surprise from the groom to the bride. Knowing how much Abbey loves champagne, Matt and I arranged for a 9L bottle from one of their favorite vineyards to be delivered and presented to the bride at their reception. After popping the cork, the champagne was passed around for toasts and the bottle was sent back to be engraved and will reside in the couple’s home.
Congratulations to the happy couple, I hope there are many more champagne-worthy occasions in your future! – Caroline
