We are so excited to share the images from Samantha & Kent’s stunning wedding at the Biltmore Estate. To see more from their wedding, head over to Junebug Weddings!

Samantha and Kent came to us with a gorgeous and somewhat elaborate vision (thanks Kent!) for what they wanted their wedding weekend to look and feel like for their guests. Using Art Deco and the 1920’s era as inspiration, the wedding was a modern affair with an old Hollywood twist. White, pinks, black and gold became the color palette for a 4 venue wedding day. The gorgeous save the date and invitation designed by Durante New York was a true hint of what to expect at the wedding. We had a unique and very glamorous venue at Biltmore Estate, where it was easy to transform each space into a different look and feel, but all within the theme Samantha and Kent envisioned. Thank you to the wonderful teams at Blossoms at Biltmore Park and Classic Event Rental for their collaboration on such an incredible weekend.

Starting with the ceremony site on the manicured Tennis Lawn at Biltmore Estate — this space was designed with a modern ombre style of whites and pinks with gold accents. With the simplicity of a white tent and white matte satin aisle runner, the ombre floral design of the bouquets and altar centerpieces really made the color palette pop. This area was designed to be soft and romantic with the primary focus on the union of Samantha and Kent.

Guests transitioned to the Library Terrace, where the patterns of the linens became a bit bolder and the custom standing gold cocktail centerpieces became a focal point, along with the beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We began hinting that black would be a prominent part of the color palette in this area.

In the dining tent on the South Terrace at Biltmore Estate, the Art Deco theme was prevalent in the feasting table layout which mimicked a diamond shape with Kent and Samantha’s triangle-shaped feasting table with an all white floral runner taking center stage. The custom gold and black mirrored bar, crystal draped chandeliers, gold chairs, and the black and gold patterned place setting was punctuated with stunning white floral and tons of candlelight. The beauty of a custom gold tent liner and draping finished the glamorous look.

Lastly, guests moved to the Italian Gardens for the “dancing under the stars” tent where we created a modern, club style feel with black and silver metal and white accents. The clear top tent featured a 6′ crystal chandelier, moving lights, an intricate black and white dance floor, black velvet lounge areas, a cigar roller, and photo stop. The fireworks display at the end of the first dance was a highlight of the night!

Congratulations to my two favorite penguins, Kent and Samantha! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. Go Hawks!

Love always, Missie
