Jamie and Bryan were married on a beautiful, sunny, Labor Day Weekend on the lawn at the historic and rustic Claxton Farm in Weaverville, NC. Sadly, just a couple of months after their wedding, the Claxton Farm barn perished in a fire. We were so grateful that we were there with Jamie and Bryan to celebrate the unique charm of this gorgeous special event venue. The photos below tell the story of what a special place it is.
We are eagerly awaiting the new venue that will become Claxton Farm this spring!
This post is the first in a series of two. Stay tuned for the next post which will highlight all of the personal details of this stunning wedding!

Jamie got ready at the historic Beaufort House Bed and Breakfast near downtown Asheville. This grounds are just lovely and if you are looking for a fabulous place to stay or get married in Asheville this is a perfect option!

Bryan’s niece was so cute with her flower petals (Courtesy of Stacey at the Bloom Room, of course!) and fancy shoes!
The Corduroy Road, a Folksy/Americana band from Athens, GA, was the perfect compliment for Jamie and Bryan’s ceremony music and DIY wedding vision. Their ceremony featured the couple’s favorite songs by Paul Simon, Van Morrison and the Plain White T’s.

Both Jamie’s Mom and Dad walked her down the aisle. It was so sweet!

Jamie and Bryan incorporated both Jewish and Christian traditions into their ceremony including this beautiful Huppah from the Bloom Room and the breaking of the glass.

The ceremony looked so beautiful dotted with bright yellow parasols to shade the hot the sun. The chairs were adorned with handmade paper cones filled with natural grasses. The programs were made from handmade paper in the shape of a fan to cool the guests.

Congratulations Jamie and Bryan! You make a perfect couple!
